About to TMEI 2026
The 2026 Tourism Management and Economic Innovation International Conference (TMEI 2026) will be held grandly in Zhuhai, the charming city of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area in China. This conference focuses on the deep integration of tourism management practices and economic innovation models, aiming to build a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform that brings together experts, scholars, industry managers, business representatives, and policy makers in the fields of tourism management, economics, marketing, cultural industries, urban planning, digital technology, and sustainable development. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as smart tourism and digital transformation, tourism destination brand building and marketing innovation, cultural tourism integration and cultural heritage economic value development, tourism industry chain synergy and business model innovation, sharing economy and new accommodation formats, tourism consumption behavior and experience economy, exhibition tourism and large-scale event economic effects, sustainable development of island tourism and ecotourism, coordinated development of tourism in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, tourism economic resilience and crisis response mechanisms. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, case studies, and dialogues between government, enterprises, and academia, we aim to explore new drivers and paths for high-quality development of the tourism industry. TMEI 2026 emphasizes the development concept of "management quality improvement and innovation driven", committed to promoting the transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry, enhancing the comprehensive benefits and competitiveness of the tourism economy, and helping to build a modern tourism economic system. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in authoritative domestic and foreign journals indexed by relevant SSCI, Scopus, or CNKI, expanding the academic influence of research results.
Record
All full paper submissions to the TMEI 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of TMEI 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to tmei@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
